Doug is a marketing business leader with a track record of building and leading high-performance digital marketing teams. He has consistently lead teams to deliver creative marketing solutions that have delivered exceptional business results. Doug has guided digital marketing strategy for some of the worlds most iconic brands, helping them navigate the intersection of media and technology to define integrated marketing strategies across traditional media, mobile, social, content, search and CRM.

As the Head of Digital Marketing at Del Monte Foods (Acquired by KKR) (now Big Heart Pet Brands and acquired by JM Smucker), Doug transformed digital marketing from being "bolt-on" to fully integrated within all marketing planning. In the process he was instrumental in the overall transformation of the marketing organization at large. He is credited with the development of a comprehensive consumer engagement strategy across Del Monte’s portfolio of 17 brands, such as Del MonteContadinaCollege InnMilk-Bone9Lives, and Kibbles ‘n Bits.

Doug is recognized as a thought leader in digital marketing, brand advertising, and ad-tech. His leadership and achievements have garnered several industry awards, such as Cannes Cyber Lion,Yahoo!’s Big Idea ChairEffie, and a London International Award. Doug frequently speaks at industry events such as iMedia, OMMA, IAB, ANA and CEB. Doug’s thought-leadership, insights and articles have appeared in various online publications such as ForbesAdExchanger, and MediaPost, where is a regular contributor.
